I love to see the values of family in nature! The inborn sense of caring, sharing, bonding and togetherness…

I often see these birds move together in pairs, at times carrying food for their partners or young ones… Last week I saw a family of raccoons play in my backyard. This was late in the evening and I was totally caught unaware! There was poor light – first I spotted one, than another and another…. Finally I realised they were a family of six.

Raccoons are nocturnal and not too friendly towards us but I was awed by the friendliness and playful nature within their family. Luckily I had my phone with me and I managed to take a video – not very clear due to poor light at that time. Watch the video below to see the fun!

This reminded me of the cuddly times we’ve had with our babies when they were little… Guess I’m missing my kids! Will have to wait before we can make any travel plans to connect due to covid reasons.

Reliving the cuddly times with our little ones did light my face with joy and smiles!

Wishing you great family time!

  2. what super cute critters and they were so playful!

All parents are missing their kids and some have to wait to hold their newborn grandkids … obviously raccoons don’t have covid restrictions imposed on them ๐Ÿ™‚
