No words to express…

the beauty of the cherry blossoms!

NO WORDS TO EXPRESS

The onset of a virus

The Virus – a mystery

Affecting lives in different ways

Claiming lives, spreading misery!

Challenge of  the Covid

Surpassed our imagination

Families and  economy crippled

Distress of the nations  vivid!

Schools and offices

Forced to work offsite

Businesses struggle

Coping through  websites!

No words can express

Our global plight

Without any flights

Or expresses to take!

Grandmas  try to facetime

Faces of loved ones to see

Emotions go virtual

All lost in the virtual sea!

No words can express, what the families have been going through globally! I’ve used the cherry blossom image as the City of Toronto was forced to declare High Park CLOSED during the pre-bloom and peak bloom period of the cherry blossom trees because of Covid! Every year thousands of people visit High Park to catch a glimpse of the delicate pink flowers on Toronto’s Sakura (cherry blossom) trees – a beloved spring tradition!

Glad to see life gradually returning back to normalcy… Have a beautiful day!

  1. Great take on the prompt. ❤️ I’ve always loved cherry blossoms and I’ve planted a cherry tree at every house I lived at, so I can see the blooms up close and personal every year. 😉
