when I came upon a crowd of flowers….
With the lockdown measures relaxed, I set out for a drive yesterday and was awed by the beauty all around… Nature at it’s best! And the poem, that I learnt as a child, flashed upon my inward eye…
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
The flowers here, were very yellow n pretty but not daffodils – I still love them!

Have a great weekend!
Wonderful! It makes me want to go on a long bike ride outside of the city. I think the time is coming soon when that will be possible. There is something about exploring the farmland outside the city, stopping for a cold drink or a snack somewhere and seeing what I can see that makes me so happy.
Glad you got to go beyond the city limits! Great photo!
